Application Limitation:
Radico Hair Colour paste should be applied on freshly washed and completely dried hair. Any product with chemical residue or moisture left in hair before application will interfere with achieving best results and/or can cause adverse reactions.
If you have used chemical dyes in the past, residue may still linger long after. In this case, best results of Radico application are achieved after at least two-three applications. The first application works to break the chemical barrier; hence results may vary depending on condition of hair. The next application renders better colour result.
Use Limitation:
Radico Hair Colour is a semi-permanent hair colour. The colour lasts for 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the health and condition of hair. The more you use the product the longer the product tends to last with each application.
Colour Pigment Limitation:
Radico Hair Colour utilizes only plant pigments, so it lacks the intensity of chemical dyes. It will not colour hair that is darker than the pigment of the product.
Troubleshooting of Colour
If you've ever dyed your hair with natural hair color and noticed it turning more blue, green, turquoise or orange than you expected, don't worry, you're not alone. This occurrence is quite common and completely normal. The reason behind this phenomenon is the presence of indigo or henna pigments found in many dark shades of natural hair dyes. These pigments can give your hair an unexpected blueish or orangish hue, which might differ from your initial expectations.
- Troubleshooting orangish tone - apply pure indigo powder paste to remove orangish tone and get dark brown colour.
- Troubleshooting purple tone - apply pure natural henna powder paste to remove purple tone and get dark brown or soft black colour
Note - With regular use (second or third application) of the desired Radico Hair Colour, this kind of problem may not arise further.
